I am Lewis, the handyman behind Wight Handyman Services. One reliable pair of hands for repairs, painting, fencing, plumbing and outdoor work, from a loose hinge to a full day of jobs. Fully insured, free written estimates, and I turn up when I say I will.
What I do
Most of my work is the sort of thing that sits on a list for months: the jobs too small for a specialist trade and too fiddly for a Saturday morning. If it is outside what I can take on, I will tell you straight and point you at someone who can.

Interior and exterior painting, prepared properly so it lasts rather than looking good for one summer.
Fence installation and repair, fixed quickly and safely. Island weather is hard on timber and posts.
Everyday plumbing repairs and installations. For anything that needs a gas registered or qualified specialist, I will say so.
Keeping the outside of a property in order, which on the Isle of Wight means salt, wind and a lot of rain.

It depends on the work. Some jobs are an hour, some are a full day, and a list of small jobs is often best done in one visit. I give you an estimate and a timeline before starting so there are no surprises.
